The search bar has an arrow next to it. Click the arrow to show a list of categories.
- Searching by category will produce more results because it is a broader search option.
- When you have a general idea of what you want but are unsure of the specific goods, browsing by category is best.
3. View and select an item
You'll see a series of options on the left side of the page that you may use to narrow down your search even further.
For example, you could look for the following product:
- in a specific color
- from a specific firm or brand
- depending on how highly it has been evaluated by Amazon users
- within a specific price range
- based on who is selling it
Among other things, the product information will show you:
- what the product looks like and if there are any variations available
- what the product's name is
- its cost when purchased (and if you save anything off retail price)
- when you might expect to receive it, or how many are still available
- what other buyers think about the product
- When you see a product you like, click on it to learn more about it.
4. Add the item to your cart
You'll find more thorough information on the product you've chosen here. If you've determined it's what you want, use the "QTY" drop-down menu to choose how many of this product you want. Then click the Add to Cart button.
5. Proceed to the Amazon checkout
If this is the only item you wish to purchase, click Proceed to Checkout.
6. Enter a shipping address
You must now select an address to which your delivery will be sent. If you don't have one, you'll need to make one.
Enter your shipping information.
Under "Enter A New Shipping Address," click each of the boxes or drop-down menus and type or select:
- your full name
- your street address
- your unit address (if you live in an apartment, condo, etc.)

- the state, province, or region in which you live
- your mailing code (doesn’t have to be a U.S. Z.I.P. code)
- the country in which you live
- your phone number
Additional settings are available under "Optional Delivery Preferences," where you can:
- Select whether you are available to receive packages on weekends.
- Give Amazon the entry code to your apartment building or gated community (if permitted) so that a delivery person can enter.
- Choose whether or not the address to which your things will be shipped is the same as the address to which your bill will be mailed.
When you've finished entering all of your information, click Continue to proceed.
7. View and confirm your order summary
Your order summary will be displayed on the left. You'll be asked to choose the type of shipment you want on the right (if applicable). Select the desired type by clicking the button next to it. Generally, the faster the shipment speed, the higher the cost. When you're finished, click the Continue button.
8. Choose a payment method
You must now choose a form of payment for your order.
For the purposes of this tutorial, we'll assume you want to pay with a credit card. Follow these procedures to add a new credit card:

When you're finished, this credit card will be selected as a payment option automatically, so simply click Continue.
9. Enter promotional codes
If you have any promotional codes, enter them in the "Promotional Codes" box before submitting your order.
10. Confirm and place your order
On the following screen, you can examine your order and make any last-minute modifications, such as the type of shipment you desire. If you're satisfied with what you've got, click Place Your Order.

Warranty and repair policy on Amazon
It's normal to want to know that when you buy something, especially from an online shop like Amazon, you're making a good selection. You must have confidence that the money you spent will last or work as planned for a fair period of time.
If it does not, you should know that you may always contact the vendor for help. This guarantee is embodied in the product's warranty.
Amazon's warranty claim is among the best in the business. Their A to Z guarantee is a model that all online sellers should follow. When a customer is unhappy with a purchase, it could be due to any of the following reasons:
The item got did not match the one requested (wrong size, a fake, different color, different item).
The item was faulty or damaged (either when it was delivered or after less than a month of use).
The buyer's fabricated explanation (some buyers are just BAD customers).
The buyer can contact the vendor directly to remedy the situation. If a buyer wants to register a warranty claim through Amazon, they can do so by using one of the options given below. As long as the claim is submitted within 30 days of receiving the goods.
If you need a different color or size, request a replacement. Or if the item is defective. This is typically an option only available for items delivered within the United States.
Request a refund - You can have your money returned to you. This can be returned to your bank, reversed on a credit card (such as a Visa or Mastercard), or used to purchase an Amazon Gift Card.
Warranty Repair - The manufacturer's warranty may apply to some Amazon-sold devices. This can be used by the consumer to have the product repaired by the manufacturer or a third-party service provider.
Let's go over how to claim warranty on Amazon products.
Request to Exchange an Item
If you want to swap your item for a new size or color, if you received a damaged item, or if you received a completely different one, go to Amazon's Online Returns Center, which has an easy process for claiming warranty on Amazon.
- Navigate to the Online Returns Center and then select "Return items."
- Locate the order you want to return, then select "Return or replace products."
– Note: This will display your purchasing history.
- Choose the item to be exchanged, and then choose a reason from the "Reason for return" menu.
- An exchange order will be established.
- Print the return label because it contains the warehouse address and shipment information (the delivery payment was prepaid, thus this label has that information).
- Print the Return Authorization and include it with the returned product.
– Note: If possible, use Amazon's original packaging. If required, secure with tapes and cables.
You will be offered several alternatives for where and how to return the box to Amazon.
- Drop off package a location near you.
- Pickup by a logistics company.
- Drop off at an Amazon Locker.
- To avoid being charged for both the original and exchange items, you must return the original item within 30 days.
- You can return new and unopened items purchased and fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) for a full refund within 30 days of receiving the product.
Request for a Refund
What if you don't want a replacement item and just want your money back? You can also ask for a refund to use Amazon's warranty. The Amazon A-to-Z Guarantee includes refunds for products. This is a full system that protects buyers whether they buy from Amazon directly or from an FBA vendor.
Under the A-to-Z Guarantee, you can ask for a refund if any of the following things happen:
You still haven't gotten your package, and it's been three days since the maximum estimated delivery date or three days since the tracking shows that the package was delivered, whichever came first.
You got an order that wasn't what you thought it would be, so you asked the seller for a refund.
You used a way to send the goods back that could be tracked, but the seller did not give you a refund.
To get a refund for an Amazon product's warranty, follow the steps below.
Go to Where You're Told.
Find your order in the list and click "Problem with the order."
You can pick your problem from the list.
Select "Request refund".
Fill out the text box with your thoughts.
Amazon will check the items when you send them back to see if you can get a refund. It can take anywhere from a few days to three weeks to do this. As a restocking fee, Amazon could take up to 20% of the price you paid for the item.
- You can return new and unopened items purchased and fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) for a full refund within 30 days of receiving the product.
- If the item you want to return does not have an exchange option or if you received it as a gift, you must return it and place a new order.
Request for Item Repair
If you choose to have your damaged item repaired, please follow the steps below.
- Go to the Returns Center Online.
- Choose "Return Items" and then the item that needs to be repaired.
- Mark as faulty. In the comments box, describe the problem. To facilitate evaluation, be as thorough as possible.
- Some do-it-yourself repairs will be offered; if they still do not work, then
- Deliver the package to the service provider. Verify that the delivery addresses are correct.
- Print the return label and adhere to all handling and packaging guidelines.
- The service provider may contact you directly to acquire information.
- If there are detached items, include these to the return package.
How To Find The Best Deals On Amazon
Amazon is by far the most popular online store, so there are a lot of interesting deals to be had there.
Amazon's prices are already some of the lowest in the business, but if you take advantage of discounts, daily deals, coupons, special specials, and other promotions, you'll find that you can get some great deals!
Here are a few ways to buy cheap items from Amazon.
Deals of the Day
Find out what things are on sale by clicking the Deals link at the top of the Amazon website.
Deals of the Day are items that are only available for 24 hours. You can save anywhere from 20% to 90% off the original price depending on the item. There may not be a large selection, but if you pay attention to it frequently enough, you can really save money and locate cheap things on Amazon!
Lightning bargains are for those who think quickly. These offers are only available for a limited time and in limited quantities!
The offer will stop when they run out of stock or the timer runs out. But you may get a lot more bang for your money if you keep up with these lightning offers, which can save you up to 80% off!
Another advantage of becoming a Prime member is getting a 30-minute head start on all Lightning Deals.
If you're a real-life coupon clipper, you'll be glad to know that Amazon has a Coupons Page that you may use.
The majority of the things included here fall under the categories of household goods or technology, however other items may also be included. Clipping coupons can save you anywhere from 5 to 15% on goods and will be applied instantly when you make the purchase.
Just keep in mind that the coupons will not be valid indefinitely. If you do not purchase the item right away, it may expire when you return.
Warehouse of Amazon
Not many people know they can buy from Amazon Warehouse. Here, you can find cheap things that have been opened or fixed up.
Have you ever thought about what happens to things that people buy and then give back? If they are in perfect condition, they are sent to Amazon Warehouse, where you might be able to get them at some of the best prices.
For people who have never used Amazon Warehouse before, it can be hard to buy Amazon Returns. Tools like The Forklift make the process easier. It's a great way to find items on Amazon that are very cheap.
In the long run, buying used on Amazon can save you a lot of money, and the quality is often hard to tell from brand new.
Amazon Outlet is a "hidden" part of Amazon that has a lot of deals, just like Amazon Warehouse.
Instead of items that were sent back, Amazon Outlet has items that have been overstocked or are on sale but have never been sold. You don't have to worry about the quality because nothing has been opened or fixed. Simply put, they were made too much, sold too little, and were not in season.
Unclaimed Amazon Packages For Sale
Packages sometimes get lost or go to the wrong place. Not many people know that you can buy Amazon packages that have been left behind at a lower price. If these packages don't get to where they're supposed to, you can buy them at an auction.
One place to find these deals is at a liquidation sale.
This method, on the other hand, has its own risks. There are no guarantees about quality or delivery safety. In short, it might have very low prices, but it's a "try at your own risk" kind of deal.
How To Get Free Stuff On Amazon
You won't believe it, but there are ways to get free stuff from Amazon!
People can really get some things for free if they know where to look. There are also thousands of free Kindle books. To find them, just search "for free." You can also listen to and download thousands of free songs from Amazon Music.
And if you're a Prime member, you'll get even more free stuff, like free audiobooks and free cloud storage!
Using third-party sites like Cashbase, where you can sign up, shop, wait for the item to arrive, and then get your cashback through PayPal, is another easy way to get free stuff.
AmZDiscover is a similar platform that connects businesses with customers who regularly review things. Fill out a form, and if your application is accepted and approved, you'll get things in exchange for reviews.
Amazon also has a program called Amazon Vine for early reviewers, but you have to be invited to join.
The goal of the program is to get fair and honest reviews for products that have just been added to Amazon and could use more reviews. You can start building your reputation by leaving honest reviews for the things you buy on Amazon.
You never know, someone might notice your honest reviews and invite you to start getting free products in exchange for them.
Extra Tips On Buying From Amazon
Saving on Shipping Fees
If you don't want to join Amazon Prime but don't want to pay the extra shipping fees, the best thing to do is wait until your order totals or more. This way, you can take advantage of the free standard shipping that takes between 5 and 8 business days. It is without a doubt one of the best ways to get free shipping without having Amazon Prime.
Keep in mind that Amazon will ship or send most orders for free if they are fulfilled or sent by Amazon. Even adding one product that isn't eligible could make the order ineligible, so keep an eye out for any problems that could happen.
Also, keep in mind that the shipping address must be in the United States for you to qualify.
Keeping track of past prices
Unless you spend all of your time on Amazon, you probably won't remember when or by how much the price of an item you've been eyeing has changed. How can you tell if the "deal" you're getting is real? There are a number of tracking apps and websites that can help you figure out if now is the best time to complete your transaction or not.
CamelCamelCamel is one of these tools. Just copy and paste the link to any product page into the search field to see the whole price history of that product since it was listed on Amazon. Camelizer can be added to browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari as an add-on.
The tools Honey, Keepa, and Waatcher are all the same. Honey, for example, not only keeps track of past prices but also saves a lot of coupons and discount codes for online stores like Amazon.
Amazon Buy Now Pay Later
Amazon Pay Later is a good option for people who need money right away and only want to use digital methods. This is how to buy things on Amazon.in with EMI.
You don't need a credit card to use Amazon Pay Later, and there are no fees to cancel or close the account early. Here, you can find out more about how to sign up, availability, limits, and the process.
How to Change Something on Amazon
How to return or exchange an item bought on Amazon depends on the seller or manufacturer and who made or shipped the item.
In some cases, you may need to return the original item and place a new order, paying for shipping to send the item back to you. In other cases, you can use the Return or replace items section of the Your Orders page to finish the process. Follow the step-by-step instructions in this section to send in your reason for return.
If you don't want to be charged for both items, return the first item within 30 days of getting it.

If you prefer to shop in bulk, the Amazon Bulk Supply Store may be of interest to you.

Buying From Amazon In Different Countries
Have you ever wanted to buy a gift from the comfort of your own home for a friend who lives in another country? Amazon lets you buy things from their local website and have them sent to your address. There are times when an item you want to buy on Amazon is cheaper in a country other than the one you live in. There are many times when it makes sense to buy from Amazon in a different country, but the process doesn't have to be hard.
If you wanted to buy something from Amazon Japan, for example, you would find it hard to use the website because it is in Japanese. If you keep your fingers crossed, you might be able to change the language options to English. Also, if you order from an Amazon in a different country, there is no guarantee that it will be able to ship to your address.
