The recipe gained popularity after a TikTok video demonstrating how easy and tasty it is went viral. This is one of those foolproof recipes that impresses everyone. It’s a coffee shop type of coffee drink we can enjoy at home

I've learned so much about this whipped coffee recipe in just one week, and I've already made five batches myself. I'm mildly preoccupied and insist that everyone make this immediately. This week of heavy coffee consumption has taught me a lot about coffee frothing techniques and potential pitfalls. Check out the FAQ and helpful hints down below.

In what ways is coffee whipped

Dalgona coffee, which is whipped coffee, is a staple in South Korea. Frappe Coffee is the name for it in Greece, while Beaten Coffee is the name used in India. However, the popular TikTok name for it is "whipped coffee."

Just combine instant coffee, granulated sugar, and water in a 1:1:1 ratio. In a matter of minutes, the liquid will turn into a thick and creamy paste. Then, serve the concoction with cold or hot milk. There you have it; a cup of frothy, creamy coffee in no time flat.

A whipped coffee recipe would be greatly appreciated.

The recommended ratio is 1–3 tablespoons of instant coffee to 1–3 tablespoons of sugar to 1 cup of water. One serving is equal to one tablespoon. But you can increase the volume by doubling or tripling the recipe, as I did in the example below. It will look like a concentrated packet of instant coffee when you first mix it.

A few minutes of whisking will transform the dark coffee's liquid appearance into a lighter, thicker one.

To make an irresistible whipped coffee, continue whisking past that point and you'll see that the color has lightened even more. It will resemble peanut butter in appearance. When you see peaks forming on the whisk, you know it's ready. You'll find that it's much more substantial and retains its form.

Whisking the ingredients together is the last step in making whipped coffee. To enjoy, simply pour some of the mixture over a glass of milk or water and stir. Over cold or hot milk, this is delicious. Like an Americano, it works well with either iced or hot water.

How to Achieve Perfectly Whipped Coffee

  1. For optimal results, use boiling water. You can skip the hot water. Even with cold or room temperature water, it can be whipped up nicely. But I discovered that hot water has a more immediate effect.
  2. To save time, you should probably use an electric mixer. My hands got tired after only a few minutes of whisking, so the first time I made this, I had my husband do it. Effective and quick alternatives include a stand mixer or milk frother. As of right now, you're looking at a minimum of 5 minutes.
  3. Mix the ingredients in a bowl, not a cup or jar. Because when the mixture is exposed to air, it whips up and becomes airy, the dalgona coffee is able to take on its characteristically light and airy texture. Therefore, a jar or mug will not provide adequate ventilation.
  4. Be sure to stir your frothy java with a spoon or straw before drinking. A fun presentation is to float the whipped coffee recipe on top of the drink, but the best way to experience it is to stir it in. Eventually, it will resemble a frappuccino.

Is it okay to use regular coffee grounds?

Using regular ground coffee in the whipped coffee recipe is not possible because it must be brewed before it is drinkable. Instant coffee is required for preparation.

How about some whipped coffee, but what kind of sugar works best?

For the best results, use granulated sugar. White granulated sugar is the most common, but you can also use cane sugar, brown sugar, coconut sugar, or even raw sugar.

How about a reduced-sugar, sugar-free, or sugar-substitute version?

Yes, you can make it without sugar, reduce the sugar, or substitute a sugar substitute such as Stevia, but it won't be as light and airy.

How do you choose the best instant coffee?

To make instant coffee, use whatever brand you prefer. There's always a supply of Nescafe in my cupboard because it's my favorite coffee and it's cheap and easy to find.
